i've saw this figure this morning, also as "sold", i cam to charity this afternoon and is was still "sleeping" on display....i asked the seller if they wait for the buyer.... he said, if you are interested you can buy it.... well i did it-) at first time i was thinking that the sculmpture is one piece of ivory.... but after buying i reallised that it looks like some bone sculpture done with many small parts. i'm not able to identify the period, probably made in 20th century or late 19th, as low cost sculpture...
what do you think about? maybe the maker mark helps to find the origins...
